Seezeit Resort

Our conference takes place in a conference center at the Werbellinsee in Brandenburg. The resort is beautifully situated in the forest, directly on the lake. There will be other groups on the premises at the same time, but we will have our sleeping, seminar and recreation rooms to ourselves. Most of the accommodation will be organized in 6-bed rooms with bunk beds. We will be served vegan food on site and drinks and snacks will be provided. Apart from that, the resort is quite remote and there are no shopping facilities in the area. So if you have any special requests, it’s better to buy something in advance.

Barriers and accessibility

All houses are accessible at ground level or via ramps. As some of the seminar rooms can only be reached via stairs, we arrange the room allocation so that the accessible rooms are used as required. There are wheelchair-accessible toilets and washrooms. The paths across the outdoor area are somewhat uneven in places and the paths between the dormitories and seminar houses are somewhat longer. If you have any further questions or needs, please send us an email or note them on the registration form. We endeavor to remove existing barriers.

How to get there

The closest train stations are Eberswalde and Joachimsthal. Buses run from both stations to the bus stop “Altenhof Seezeit Werbellinsee”. It is 15 or 6 km by bike from the respective train station to the resort. (If the bus connections are not sufficient, we may set up a shuttle service. We will inform you of this in good time before the conference).

Those arriving by car can park on the resort grounds.
